An Iraqi journalist shouted the title above in Arabic and threw his shoes at President Bush. After the man was dragged away, the press conference continued; the still-President (only 47 shopping days left ’til Obama-mas!) said he was uncertain what the man’s issue could have possibly been or what point he was trying to make. C’mon, give it a guess…

In Iraqi culture, hurling shoes at someone literally means: “I hate you and you ruined my country! We were better off with Saddam and that guy was a ruthless dictator!”
