Big Brother finally relented and let The New York Times publish some of his work. Look way down in the comments section - it is a lovely little poem credited to Abe Stalin, excerpted below:
Topolino was a little mouse,
with a great big wish
for a great big house.
But bloated valuations and sub-prime fears,
left him a renter for years and years.
He dreamt of marble countertops
and hardwood floors,
but it was out of his reach
though he was not poor.
When Hank let Lehman fail
and bought Fannie and Freddie,
Topolino saw the market correcting
and would soon be ready,
to buy a great house
on the good side of town.
Now all he needs is
to get together
fifteen percent down.
That is all,
BigĀ Brother
